Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Aviation Parts Administrator to join our team. In this vital role, you will oversee the procurement, inventory management, and distribution of aviation parts, ensuring seamless operations across our supply chain. Your expertise will help maintain optimal stock levels, manage supplier relationships, and support the efficient flow of parts necessary for aircraft maintenance and repair. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced, safety-critical industry while utilizing your skills in logistics, procurement, and inventory control. Responsibilities Manage the procurement process for aviation parts, including sourcing OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) components and negotiating pricing with suppliers. Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems and order management software to ensure real-time visibility of stock levels. Coordinate shipping and receiving activities, ensuring timely delivery of parts while adhering to safety and quality standards. Oversee warehouse management tasks such as inventory control, cycle counting, and equipment repair to optimize storage space and reduce waste. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) tools to track maintenance schedules and parts usage for aircraft repair operations. Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to forecast demand planning needs, manage sourcing strategies, and streamline procurement processes. Support customer service efforts by providing timely updates on order status, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring satisfaction in all dealings. Experience Proven experience in supply chain management within the aviation or automotive industry is highly preferred. Strong background in warehouse management, inventory control, and logistics operations. Familiarity with ERP systems such as AS400 or similar platforms used for procurement and inventory tracking. Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, auto body repair, OEM parts sourcing, and dealership experience is advantageous. Hands-on experience with shipping & receiving procedures, equipment repair, and warehouse experience is beneficial. Mechanical knowledge related to aircraft or automotive systems will enhance your ability to manage parts effectively. Excellent negotiation skills combined with data entry accuracy are essential for maintaining supplier relationships and managing procurement activities.
