Job Description
Company:
A full-service Contract Manufacturing Company located in the North Bay. This position requires a highly motivated candidate who is looking for a great career opportunity with a successful and growing company.Position Overview:
- The selected candidate will be responsible for materials from raw stock to shipping the finished product. The successful candidate must have a strong commitment to quality, organization, math/counting of parts quantities, and keeping current with shipping schedules. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must, as this is a position that interrelates throughout the entire plant. This is an entry/intermediate position. Monday - Friday 7:00am to 3:30pmResponsibilities, Daily Routines and Expectations:
- Follow verbal and written instructions
- Bag / Wrap Parts (As directed)
- Weigh count and package parts
- Prep Shipping supplies (Cut paper of cardboard)
- Basic wrapping of parts (fully directed)
- Count and package machine parts
- Wrapping of parts using Matrix codes
- Packaging parts for outside processing (Local, Domestic, International)
- Package to protect highly cosmetic products.
- Receiving and Verifying Lower-Level Material against Purchase Order (ERP System) o Label / Count / Identify and tag Material
- Box up shipments (Count and Barcode)
- Inventory Management (Maintain Accurate Inventory Reports)
- Develop and document packaging processes (Pkg Matrix)
- Create and verify shipping invoices (Verify Destinations)
- This job may require standing and repetitive motion for multiple hours at a time
- The candidate will on occasion have to be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
