Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Parts Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the procurement and supply of automotive, truck and ag parts, ensuring that our dealership operates efficiently. This position requires strong negotiation skills, familiarity with order management systems, and a background in automotive repair or logistics. Responsibilities Manage the procurement of automotive parts from various suppliers to maintain optimal inventory levels. Utilize order management systems to track orders, manage stock levels, and ensure timely delivery of parts. Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best pricing and terms for parts procurement. Collaborate with service departments to understand their parts needs and ensure timely availability. Maintain accurate records of all transactions and inventory levels. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting technicians and customers with parts inquiries. Monitor market trends and supplier performance to make informed purchasing decisions. Assist in logistics planning to streamline the delivery process of parts. Skills Proficient in supplier management and negotiation techniques. Experience with order management systems relevant to automotive parts. Knowledge of dealership operations and automotive repair processes. Familiarity with auto body repair practices is a plus. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication abilities for effective collaboration with team members and suppliers. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
