Position Overview The Maintenance Parts Coordinator participates in the daily operations of the Maintenance Department, ensuring that proper supply of all necessary parts and tools to keep all equipment operational is maintained, documented, and accounted for within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and other record keeping systems.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM •Can change due to company needs Fully On-Site, Full-Time Position Essential Functions Updates information within the CMMS, including parts, work orders, PO's, assets, part associations, document uploads, and reports. Keeps proper inventory of all required parts through CMMS Cycle Counts and CMMS inventory checks. Issues Purchase Orders, tracks shipments, receives, stocks into inventory, and notifies department staff of all incoming and received parts. Regularly validate parts and machine identification records and identification tags, including but not limited to photos and location(s), updating the CMMS as need to keep parts and asset information up to date. Occasionally pick up parts at Vendor locations and filing milage expense reports for travel. Aid and train technicians with using the CMMS to identify parts in computerized resources, CMMS, parts organization system, and streamline the parts order, stocking, and request process. Sources, and orders parts and materials to support the facilities and maintenance team with respect to budgetary, urgency, and inventory management considerations. Updating vendor contact information as needed and Vendor pricing information annually (or as needed). Actively take part cost and Down-Time Reduction goals through inventory reporting, inventory control, and sourcing parts through competitive pricing strategies. Actively participate in Department Budget and Planning meetings when needed. Participate in Company safety walkthroughs and Maintenance Department staff tool inspections. Other duties as assigned. Experience Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) is required, specific X4 or X5 eMaint software experience a plus. Basic knowledge of maintenance/machine shop and automated production equipment. Must have basic computer skills - proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook. Data Entry background, a plus. Experience working in a maintenance department or parts department, preferred. Ability to read, perform quick simple addition/subtraction and simple multiplication, and match part numbers. High school diploma or GED. Individual must possess strong time management skills and be highly organized to successfully support day-to-day Maintenance Department activities. Individual must be able to interact with colleagues and vendors in a positive manner. Work Environment Able to sit or stand for extended periods of time Must be able to lift and carry to 50 lbs repeatedly during shift Able to work in both hot/warm conditions Comfortable with a moderate noise level Must be able to safely ascend and descend ladders up to 8' to access inventory storage locations, often to stock or retrieve parts/components. Must have reliable transportation.
