  • $25 an hour 22 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Full Job Description We are seeking a customer-focused and highly organized Parts Specialist to join our growing truck dealership team in Branford, CT.
This role serves as the primary liaison between customers and the service department, ensuring heavy-duty trucks are diagnosed, repaired, and returned to service efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate understands diesel truck operations, excels in communication, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment. Key Responsibilities Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival Accurately open and manage parts orders (POs) Document customer concerns clearly for technicians Provide accurate cost estimates and obtain approvals Coordinate workflow between technicians, parts department, and customers Monitor job progress and update customers proactively Ensure all warranty documentation and OEM requirements are met Review completed repairs with customers and explain invoices Maintain high CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) standards Handle fleet accounts and maintain strong client relationships Qualifications 2+ years experience as a Parts Specialist (heavy-duty or automotive preferred) Knowledge of diesel engines (Cummins, Detroit, Paccar, CAT preferred) Understanding of truck systems (aftertreatment, DEF, DPF, air brakes, suspension, electrical) Experience with service management software (CDK, Procede, Decisiv, etc.) Strong communication and sales skills Ability to multitask in a high-volume dealership environment Shifts/Compensation $20-25/hr Starting wage is based upon previous experience, certifications, and training. Full Comprehensive Benefits Day Shift , 7:00 AM
  • 5:00PM, Monday
  • Friday Bonus plan available based off of
Service Department Profitability:
Commission incentive based on part sales gross profit. ($750
  • $1500/month on top of base pay)
