Join the best family in Eastern Connecticut. What you'll be doing: Track all incoming and outgoing parts for a dealership. Locate out-of-stock parts from outside source and submits an emergency order, if necessary. Handle parts payment collection and make sure all parts are billed correctly through the service department and collision repair shop. Package and ship parts back to the manufacturer from time to time, and complete the appropriate record keeping. Refer to parts manuals (both hard copy and electronic format) to identify exactly the right part(s) for the make, model, and year of vehicles being serviced. Provide high level service to internal and external customers and work with technicians to fill repair orders. Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish.
Qualifications:
Must have a Valid Driver's License and clean driving record & background check. Technical degree preferred but not required. ASE certifications preferred but not required. HS Diploma or GED. Pre-employment drug screening required. Previous experience as an automotive technician or mechanic/ working on cars. Knows how to use shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc. Effective analytical and communication skills. Good reading, computer, and mathematics. Positive attitude, team oriented, strong work ethic and good references, and flexibility.
