We are seeking a dependable, customer-focused Parts Specialist to join our growing team. This individual will play an important role in supporting customers, technicians, and production by ensuring parts are available, organized, and delivered with outstanding service. Position Summary The Parts Specialist is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the Parts Department by assisting customers, answering incoming calls, processing parts requests, and maintaining an organized warehouse. This position works closely with the Parts Supervisor and other departments to ensure parts are received, stocked, and distributed efficiently while providing excellent customer service.

Parts Supervisor Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service Assist walk-in customers with parts inquiries and purchases. Answer incoming phone calls professionally and direct inquiries as needed. Identify and recommend the correct replacement parts for customers. Prepare parts quotes and sales orders. Provide updates regarding pricing, availability, and order status. Build positive relationships with customers through professional communication and exceptional service. Parts & Warehouse Operations Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage. Verify packing slips against purchase orders. Stock incoming inventory in designated warehouse locations. Pull, package, and stage parts for customer pickup, shipping, production, and service. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse. Assist with routine inventory counts and cycle counts. Inventory Support Help maintain accurate inventory records within QuickBooks. Report inventory discrepancies to the Parts Supervisor. Monitor inventory levels and communicate low-stock items. Ensure inventory is properly labeled and stored. Internal Operations Support Supply production, service, and warranty departments with requested parts. Coordinate with technicians to ensure parts are available when needed. Assist with special projects and other departmental responsibilities as assigned. Support continuous improvement efforts to improve organization and efficiency within the Parts Department. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Previous customer service experience required. Warehouse, inventory, automotive, heavy-duty truck, or manufacturing experience preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office. Experience with QuickBooks or inventory management software is a plus. Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment. Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds. Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the workday. Ability to work in both an office and warehouse environment.
