Part Counter Rep Mike Rezi Nissan Atlanta - 4.5 Atlanta, GA Job Details Full-time 6 hours ago Qualifications Serving clients Full Job Description The Parts Counter Associate is responsible for helping to implement and enforce workflow procedures based on direction from the Parts Manager. Their duties include assisting to day-to-day tasks, providing part associate support for the advisors and technicians. ( This list is not a complete and exhausted list. It is the primary guidelines to be followed. The position will entail additional activities outside of this list to be followed per instruction from time to time. Duties that may include but do not end at the list below.) Parts Associate (Expected Support): Be friendly, professional, and efficient providing a high level of service when working with all customers and other personnel. Sell part to all available customers, over the counter, through the shop, online and/or on the phone Answer phone calls providing price quotes and other information. Assist outside sales representatives with their orders Collecting payment and closing/ acknowledging invoices (ALL invoices should be signed by customer at time of purchase, pick up, or return) Look up, quote/bill parts to shop associates Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick up Assist service technicians in selecting parts needed for repairs in process Bill, pull, and stage purchases from stock, if the part is not in stock, determine availability and submit an order as needed. (All retail orders are to be prepaid) Verify order ETA and order by needed/requested status (VOR will incur freight charge) Stamp/sign off on Repair Order indicating who, what, and when Purge old orders after 30 days. Return parts to stock or to manufacturer Monitor open invoices to ensure parts orders are being filled, and parts are being picked up by customer Notify the Service Advisor(s) or customer(s) that ordered parts have been received on a daily basis Issue credit(s) for parts returned against original invoice, or its number so as to verify purchase and pricing (exceptions must be approved by the Parts Manager) Help to keep all parts areas clean and uncluttered daily At end of day assign Special order parts to that day's SOP bin At the end of the day check staging BIN's for any parts connected to closed Repair Orders to be put away Replenish assigned inventory daily. Advise Parts Manager when areas of the department are not satisfactory condition Keep current on DMS training, manufacturer training, safety training, new products, and product updates Must follow all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor Report for work on time & be ready to work at the designated start time, clock in and out for breaks, clock out upon completion of your workday.
