Technical Proficiency Full Job Description Job Summary:
Supporting the field technicians across the network, the Parts Specialist is responsible for issuing purchase orders, ordering parts, maintaining inventory levels, managing inventory database and assisting with parts pricing for repair quoting.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None Duties/Responsibilities:
Support field staff with parts requisitions for Modernization, Service and Repair teams including researching correct part numbers Issue purchase order for item(s) assigning to job number to ensure correct costing Updates supervisors and technicians with parts and materials delivery status Coordinates the receiving of incoming materials and parts. To include verifying the correctness of material, quantity received and receiving shipping paperwork to confirm delivery Returns parts and materials to inventory or vendors when needed Partner with accounts payable team on receipt of invoices from vendors Provides technical assistance relative to part identification, interchangeability and source availability Performs other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
Prior experience using Salesforce Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to multitask across multiple projects/problems at any given time Excellent attention to detail Ability to learn quickly Ability to work independently through self-motivation, and work as a team player Proficiency in Microsoft Office Education Preferred High School or better
