Job Description
Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized parts specialist to join our team. This position requires strong data entry skills, quality control to ensure that all parts are procured efficiently and effectively, contributing to the smooth operation of our facility, assisting customers with orders over the phone and in person. This position will be conducted alongside the Parts Manager and Supervisor. Responsibilities Maintain accurate records of parts and supplies, monitors stock and perform inventory counts to prevent shortages or overstocks. Assist customers requesting parts, price quotes, and general information and sales by phone or at the parts counter while providing an excellent customer service experience. Collaborate with the shop to ensure that all required parts are available for scheduled repairs. This role requires prompt order fulfillment and accuracy of all inbound and outbound orders. Qualifications Strong data entry skills, attention to detail to ensure accurate inventory management and delivery to customers, technicians and shop. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fastpaced environment. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of heavy equipment repairs, service and parts is preferred. Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
