We're seeking a highly organized Parts Associate to support our mechanical team and ensure seamless parts and inventory management.
Job Summary:
The Parts Associate will be responsible for ordering, receiving, and tracking parts for the mechanical team. This role ensures that inventory levels are accurately maintained, parts are available when needed, and proper records are kept to support operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Parts Ordering & Receiving:
Source, order, and procure parts and materials as requested by the mechanical team. Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery and competitive pricing. Verify shipments for accuracy and quality upon arrival.
Inventory Management:
Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring stock availability to meet maintenance needs. Perform regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies. Organize and label parts for easy identification and accessibility.
Record-Keeping:
Maintain accurate records of all orders, deliveries, and inventory transactions. Track warranties and returns for defective or unused parts.
Communication & Coordination:
Collaborate with the mechanical team to understand their needs and priorities. Provide updates on order statuses and inventory levels. Work closely with vendors to resolve any issues with parts or deliveries.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in parts ordering, inventory management, or a related role preferred. Have a Valid Driver License Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. Proficiency in inventory software or willingness to learn. Familiarity with automotive or mechanical parts is a plus. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certifications are a bonus.
Schedule:
Full-time position, with flexibility to meet the needs of the mechanical team.
