Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Automotive Parts Consultant to join our team! Responsibilities Assist customers in selecting automotive parts and accessories that meet their vehicle requirements, ensuring a positive shopping experience. Utilize automotive diagnostics and mechanical troubleshooting skills to identify suitable parts and recommend appropriate solutions. Manage inventory control through accurate stock management, order fulfillment, and inventory management systems such as CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). Build strong customer relationships by providing expert advice on vehicle maintenance, repair procedures, and product features. Process sales transactions efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems while maintaining accurate cash handling and cashiering procedures. Collaborate with the team to ensure proper stocking, merchandising, and organization of automotive parts to optimize sales opportunities. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of automotive systems, parts sales techniques, and industry trends through continuous learning and training. Qualifications Proven experience in automotive repair or dealership environments with a solid understanding of vehicle systems and automotive parts management. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory effectively and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual proficiency is highly desirable to serve diverse customer needs. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and Word, along with familiarity with retail math, marketing strategies, and POS systems. Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical troubleshooting, auto parts sales, and retail sales techniques. Experience with inventory management tools like CMMS or similar software is preferred. Ability to build rapport with customers through exceptional customer service skills while demonstrating mechanical knowledge.
