We're looking for an energetic, dependable individual to support our Parts Department while assisting our Service Department with a variety of operational tasks. Position Summary The primary purpose of the Parts Department Assistant / Service Support position is to assist the Parts Department with inventory management, receiving, stocking, and customer support while providing operational assistance to the Service Department as needed. This position plays an important role in ensuring technicians, advisors, and customers receive timely, accurate support that contributes to an exceptional dealership experience. Essential Job Functions Receive, verify, stock, and organize incoming parts shipments Maintain accurate inventory locations and assist with cycle counts Pick and deliver parts to technicians Assist customers at the parts counter and over the telephone Package and process parts returns and warranty parts Maintain a clean, organized, and safe parts department Assist with merchandising and showroom displays Deliver parts between dealership locations or vendors as needed Support service advisors and technicians with operational needs Assist with dealership projects and daily operational tasks Perform additional duties as assigned Daily Tasks Receive and inspect incoming parts shipments Stock shelves and maintain proper inventory organization Pull parts for repair orders and technician requests Deliver parts promptly throughout the service department Assist with inventory counts and inventory accuracy Process cores, returns, and warranty parts Keep parts storage areas clean and organized Assist with moving vehicles around the dealership when needed Shuttle customers or pick up parts as assigned Help maintain the appearance and organization of the service drive Support the dealership during busy periods by assisting where needed Follow all dealership safety procedures Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to safely operate automatic and manual vehicles preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment. Strong reliability and willingness to help wherever needed. Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
