Job Description
Overview Mountain West Equipment in Rexburg is adding an additional Parts Specialist. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Parts Specialist to join our team. We are a Kubota and Manitou dealership that has locations in Idaho Falls, Chubbuck and Rexburg. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing parts inventory, ensuring efficient supply chain operations, and providing exceptional customer service. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment. Responsibilities Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate data entry for all parts within the inventory management system. Utilize an Order Management System (OMS) to process orders efficiently and accurately. Collaborate with suppliers for effective supplier management and timely procurement of parts. Assist customers with inquiries related to parts availability, specifications, and order status, delivering outstanding customer service. Maintain organized storage areas for easy access to parts and supplies. Monitor supply chain processes to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions. Strong parts look-up experience preferred in tractor and heavy equipment as we are a Kubota tractor and heavy equipment dealership. This is for our Idaho Falls location although you may be required to work at our Rexburg location at times. May be required to be cross trained in another departments. Skills Proficient in data entry with a keen attention to detail. Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and suppliers. Knowledge of supply chain principles and practices is beneficial. Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management techniques. Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is a plus but not required at hiring.
