Job Description
Are you diesel-driven and ready to fuel the needs of customers? Do you know your way around big rigs, tough engines, and industrial-grade parts? If so, we want YOU to be the face of our parts counter!
Position:
Parts Counter Specialist Time :
8:00AM-6:00PM M-F and most Saturday availabilityLocation:
Lemont, IL (on-site)Compensation :
$25.00-$28.00 What you'll do:- Be the go-to guru for customers who need the right parts for their diesel-powered trucks and machinery.
- Use your expert knowledge (or passion to learn) to answer customer questions and solve problems.
- Keep track of inventory, order parts, making sure everything is organized, stocked, and ready to go.
- Help troubleshoot and recommend parts like a diesel detective. Whether its engines, exhausts, or fuel systems.
- Collaborate with a dynamic team of diesel enthusiasts
Qualifications:
Passion for diesel engines and getting the job done right Strong organizational skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Previous experience with diesel parts, heavy-duty truck parts, or mechanical components preferred Solid understanding of diesel engines and components (trucks, trailers, and heavy-duty equipment) Knowledge of heavy equipment used in the aggregate, construction, or quarry industry (loaders, excavators, crushers, conveyors, etc.) Ability to identify and recommend parts for heavy equipment and diesel-powered machinery Familiarity with OEM and aftermarket parts for trucks and heavy equipment Experience working in parts counter, parts warehouse, dealership, or heavy equipment environment preferred Experience with Mack and Kenworth trucks preferred Team-player attitude and commitment to helping customers get their trucks and machines back on the road quickly Bilingual in Spanish required What we offer:- Room for growth and advancement
