Parts & Customer Relations Manager
  • Benz Tech | Elkhart, IN Benz Tech is a fast-growing European auto repair specialist shop in Elkhart, Indiana focusing on Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Sprinter, and high-end German vehicles.
We've had our best months ever recently and we're building the team to match. We're looking for a sharp, organized Parts & Customer Relations Manager to join us full time. This is not a traditional parts counter job. We're looking for someone who is driven, goal-oriented, and great with people
  • someone who will build real vendor relationships, negotiate better pricing, and take ownership of results. Auto parts experience is a plus but absolutely not required. If you've excelled in customer service, sales, purchasing, or operations and you're ready to grow with a winning team
  • we want to talk.
What You'll Do:
Order, receive, and organize all shop parts daily Build strong vendor relationships
  • pick up the phone, negotiate pricing, ask for better deals Check in deliveries and verify accuracy against repair orders Handle cores, returns, and credits with vendors Reconcile vendor statements monthly and track parts cost against shop sales Support the front counter and answer phones when our Service Advisor is with a customer Keep jobs moving
  • communicate clearly with our Shop Foreman and Service Advisor Own your numbers
  • your bonus is tied directly to how well you manage parts cost
What We're Looking For:
Strong customer service or sales background
  • you know how to talk to people and build relationships Organized and detail oriented
  • you'll be managing multiple vendors and dozens of repair orders daily Goal driven
  • you set targets, track progress, and deliver results Someone who takes ownership
  • if something is wrong you fix it, you don't wait to be told Comfortable on the phone
  • with vendors, with customers, with the team Coachable and hungry to learn
  • we'll teach you everything you need to know about parts Auto parts or automotive experience is a bonus, not a requirement
Compensation:
Base pay: $1,000/week Monthly bonus: $250 for every full percentage point you keep parts cost below 25% of total shop sales
Example:
If parts cost comes in at 22% of sales in a month
  • that's 3 percentage points below threshold
  • your bonus is $750 that month This bonus is uncapped and self-funded
  • the savings you generate pay for it
