Control distribution of all parts and other items related to the parts room. Perform all receiving and shipping duties that pertain to the maintenance department. This is a 1st shift position

Must be able to comply with all safety and health policies and procedures and sustain a zero injury mindset. Work unsupervised in the parts room. Issue parts and other related items to production and maintenance employees in a timely manner. Must be able to communicate in simple English to receive instructions, interact with other employees, contact vendors, and understand repair manuals and work orders. Use and understand the MP2 maintenance software for efficient acquirement of parts and to insure the proper level of inventory items. Use of computers, phones, and facsimile machines. Create Physical Inventory reports. Print Bar Codes Maintain a clean and orderly work area. Issue Stock and Non-Stock Requisition Forms. Comply with current Quality System requirements Hazardous waste training shall be provided to the employee within six months of the date the employee filled this position and a review of this training provided every 12 months thereafter. The employee will complete a program of classroom instruction. The employee shall be supervised until training is completed. The training shall consist of a review of proper management of hazardous waste, satellite accumulation containers, how to review and prepare a hazardous waste manifest, and proper labeling requirements. Perform other work as assigned by Management including 5S cleaning
Physical Requirements:
Occasionally required to work in extreme environmental conditions (hot, cold, humid) Ability to climb ladders, squat, bend, and work in confined space Must wear personal protective equipment such as gloves, respirator, safety glasses, and steel toed shoes, hearing protection, etc., as outlined in established department PPE policy. Must be able to do some heavy lifting up to 40 pounds.

Education, Experience, Skills Required:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred Manufacturing/Industrial expereince Some computer background (Excel, Word, etc.)
