Hours:
1st shift - 6:30a-3:00p; OT is as needed, but usually about 10 hours a week Kansas City, KS Long-term contract with benefits $35-40/hr Position Overview We are seeking a Spare Parts Coordinator to support stamping operations at a high-volume manufacturing facility. This role is focused on ensuring critical spare parts are properly managed, organized, and available to keep press lines running efficiently. This is not a production or breakdown role—this person is the one making sure the team has what they need before things go wrong. Key Responsibilities Spare Parts Management Maintain and organize spare parts inventory to support stamping press operations Ensure parts are properly stored, labeled, and accessible within designated locations Track inventory levels and identify gaps to prevent downtime Cross-Functional Support Interface with maintenance group leaders, controls engineers, and skilled trades Support maintenance teams by ensuring required parts are available for planned work Communicate inventory needs and shortages proactively Operational Support Assist in improving organization and processes related to spare parts management Support efforts to maintain uptime across multiple press lines Contribute to overall efficiency of stamping operations Qualifications Education Associate's degree preferred (Strong maintenance experience may be considered in lieu of a degree) Experience 3-5 years of experience in a maintenance or manufacturing environment Experience supporting industrial equipment or production operations Required Skills Strong maintenance background (mechanical and/or industrial) Experience with spare parts inventory or materials management Ability to work cross-functionally with maintenance and engineering teams Strong organizational and communication skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with automation or industrial equipment Background in stamping, press operations, or heavy manufacturing Work Environment & Schedule On-site role in a manufacturing environment 1stShift:
