Job Description

Spare Parts Sales Job Summary This position involves taking incoming calls or emails to assist customers with spare parts sales. This position requires the sales representative to assist with obtaining PEM drawings and specifications to aid in matching customers' needs in spare parts sales. Primary responsibilities Identify and assess customers' needs to achieve satisfaction. Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools. Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies. Work with customer via phone or email to assist in spare parts sales. Respond swiftly and courteously to customer complaints or inquiries. Handle pricing and quoting spare parts sales. Correctly assessing customers' needs by researching drawings and manuals. Capture customer information, including addresses and phone numbers, for future follow-up. Build rapport with customers through friendly, engaging communication. Submit inventory requests to Purchasing to maintain product availability levels. Work safely without presenting a direct threat to self or others. Compliance with all safety rules and guidelines. Strong work ethic and great attitude needed. Other duties as assigned by Supervisor. Qualifications and Skills 2+ years inside sales or manufacturing customer service experience (incoming call preferred). Excellent communication skills and accountability. Proficient computer skills needed for working with ERP systems, and Windows operating systems. Ability to read and comprehend engineering drawings, hydraulic & pneumatic drawings, and bill of materials a plus. Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening. Mechanical comprehension or aptitude is a plus. Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively. Proficient in Microsoft Office skills.
