We are looking for a motivated and aggressive Used Vehicle Acquisition Manager to help grow our inventory through strategic purchasing, trade acquisition, and relationship building. If you understand the used car market, know how to appraise vehicles, and can source inventory in a competitive market, we want to talk to you. Responsibilities Source and acquire quality used vehicle inventory through: Auctions Dealer trades Service drive opportunities Private party purchases Online buying platforms Customer trade-ins Monitor market trends, pricing, and inventory demand Evaluate vehicles using market data, vehicle history reports, and physical inspections Build relationships with wholesalers, auctions, lenders, and local dealerships Work closely with sales and service departments to maintain proper inventory levels Negotiate purchases while maintaining profitability goals Ensure accurate documentation and vehicle acquisition records Help maintain a targeted inventory turn and day supply Attend auctions as needed Qualifications Automotive dealership experience preferred Strong understanding of vehicle appraisals and market values Experience with Dealersocket, vAuto, auction platforms, or similar tools is a plus Strong negotiation and communication skills Self-motivated with the ability to work independently Organized and detail-oriented Valid driver's license required Preferred Experience Used car buying Inventory management Wholesale automotive experience Auction buying experience Automotive sales management CRM and inventory software knowledge Benefits Competitive compensation plan Opportunity for growth within the company Fast-paced and team-oriented environment Employee vehicle purchase program Paid time off Why Join Platinum Auto Plaza?
