Wichita, KS, USA Experience:
3+ years' experience in Deburr, preferred
Job Duties:
Grind, file, sand and polish metal surfaces to a specified shape and smoothness using grinding hand tools on large dimension aerospace parts in excess of +20 ft. Lift and position metal parts on bench Remove burrs and smooth out contoured surfaces with power tools Verify dimensions and radius, using micrometers, dial indicators and calipers as needed Inspect and measure parts Ensure organized and clean work area Perform other duties as assigned and necessary Requirements 3+ years' experience in Deburr, preferred 2+ years' experience in deburring Aerospace parts, preferred 2+ years' experience deburring large parts, preferred Ability to read and interpret blueprints Machine shop experience preferred Must have the ability to be flexible on shift Self-motivated and produce quality work High School Diploma or equivalent Reliable transportation to work Good attitude and willing to work as a team player
Working Conditions:
Some overtime may be necessary Ability to regularly and frequently lift 50 pounds Will be exposed to constant activity that requires intermittent standing, bending, crouching, twisting, pushing, pulling, lifting, moving, carrying light and heavy loads, and climbing stairs and ladders. Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate small power tools and other equipment for extended periods of time.
