Job Description

DESCRIPTION
Receives, ships, and maintains inventory, fills parts orders and performs other warehouse duties in an accurate, prompt and safe manner under minimum supervision. Ability to operate material handling equipment.
Compensation:
up to $27.30 per hour.
REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions Working knowledge and ability to operate fork lift, material handling equipment, hose equipment and tooling Ability to complete paperwork and records, promptly accurately and legibly Ability to lift parts and equipment components that weigh no more than 50 pounds to effectively fill customer orders - parts and equipment exceeding 50 pounds should be lifted with assistance from other employees or other equipment available Good verbal, written and interpersonal skills
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Fills parts orders per requests Assists will call and counter personnel for will call parts Reads and comprehends parts orders, packing lists and freight bills Uses computer terminal to process and ensure accuracy of parts transactions, completes paperwork and records promptly, accurately and legibly Ensures that parts items are counted accurately, packaged and shipped to customer per shipping order and standard shipping procedures Receives and stocks incoming parts and merchandise, checks for discrepancies, files claims if necessary Uses hose equipment and tooling to prepare hose assemblies as requested Keeps all areas of warehouse clean and orderly, follows all work and safety rules and procedures. May be required to work overtime if needed May be requested to get a commercial driver's license based on the specific department operational needs Performs other duties as necessary and assigned
