Overview Join our dynamic team as a Counter Parts Person, where your expertise in automotive parts and customer service will drive success and satisfaction. In this role, you will be the vital link between customers, technicians, and inventory management, ensuring that every vehicle receives the right parts efficiently and accurately. Responsibilities Assist customers in selecting automotive parts and accessories, providing expert advice based on vehicle systems and repair needs Manage inventory control by stocking, organizing, and maintaining parts shelves using inventory management systems such as CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) Process sales transactions accurately through POS (Point of Sale) systems while handling cash and credit payments with professionalism Build strong customer relationships through effective communication, understanding their needs, and offering tailored solutions Support automotive diagnostics and mechanical troubleshooting to identify suitable parts for repairs or upgrades Collaborate with the service team to ensure timely order fulfillment and proper vehicle maintenance support Maintain organized records of sales, inventory levels, and client interactions using Microsoft Office tools like Excel and Word Requirements Proven experience in automotive parts sales or dealership environments with a solid understanding of automotive repair processes Strong mechanical knowledge including vehicle systems, diagnostics, and troubleshooting techniques Excellent communication skills in multiple languages (bilingual/multilingual abilities are a plus) to effectively engage with diverse customers Proficiency in inventory management software such as CMMS and familiarity with POS systems for retail sales transactions Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively and build lasting customer relationships Knowledge of automotive parts management, stocking procedures, and retail math for accurate order fulfillment and inventory control Ability to handle cashiering duties including cash handling, retail math calculations, and maintaining accurate financial records Organizational skills to manage stock levels, order processing, and maintain a clean work environment Experience with Microsoft Office applications like Excel for reporting and inventory tracking is preferred Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; dealership or automotive repair experience is highly desirable Join us as a Counter Parts Person where your enthusiasm for automotive technology combined with your customer service skills will make a real impact.
