We're looking for a motivated, customer-focused individual to join our Parts Department. If you enjoy helping customers, staying organized, and working in a fast-paced dealership environment, we'd love to hear from you. The Parts Advisor plays an important role in supporting both our Service Department and retail customers by identifying, sourcing, and distributing automotive parts while providing outstanding customer service. What You'll Do Assist technicians and customers with identifying and purchasing the correct parts. Provide parts pricing, availability, and order status in person and over the phone. Process parts orders from start to finish, including billing, payment processing, shipping, delivery, and customer pickup. Receive, unload, stock, and organize incoming parts inventory. Pull and fill parts orders while maintaining accurate inventory records. Source out-of-stock parts and place emergency orders as needed. Deliver parts between local dealerships and vendors when necessary. Support departmental sales goals while providing exceptional customer service. Follow company policies and safe driving practices at all times. What We're Looking For Minimum of two years of customer service experience. Previous automotive parts or dealership experience preferred, but not required. Strong communication, organization, and time management skills. Ability to learn dealership software and electronic parts catalog systems. Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn. Professional appearance and demeanor. High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Must be at least 21 years of age or have three years of licensed driving experience for insurance purposes. Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
Schedule:
Full-time Monday through Friday with some Saturdays. Why Choose Sterling?
