Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Counter Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our customers while managing various tasks related to automotive diagnostics, sales, and inventory management. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist with inquiries regarding automotive parts and products. Provide recommendations for vehicle maintenance, repair and parts replacement. Manage parts transactions using Dealer Management Systems (Reynolds) systems. Maintain accurate inventory control and assist with stocking shelves as needed. Work with Technicians to fulfill their parts orders for service customers Ensure the counter area is organized, clean, and well-stocked at all times. Skills Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills. Proficiency in automotive repair and service knowledge, including vehicle maintenance. Familiarity with retail sales practices, including negotiation techniques and retail math. Experience with inventory management systems and organizational skills for effective stock control. Knowledge of marketing strategies to promote services effectively. Experience in a dealership environment is preferred but not required. Experience in Reynolds and Reynolds dealer management system prefered but will train the right candidate. Strong phone etiquette for handling customer calls professionally.
