Job Description
Burnips Equipment is a family owned, farm equipment dealer. The company offers farm equipment repair services, tractor sales of several different types of equipment from several different brands, and parts retail. We understand that if our customers do not succeed, neither will we! We are looking for a personable, reliable and hard working member to help provide parts for our customers and our service department as a Parts Manager. As a Parts Manager, your job duties would include, but not be limited to:
- Effectively managing Parts Department expenses.
- Effectively and accurately check parts in from suppliers and transfers from other stores.
- Accurately and efficiently look up parts for customers.
- Provide excellent direction and customer service towards customers at the parts counter calling via phone, and through e-mail.
- Effectively contribute to maintaining a clean and organized Parts area.
- Contact customer(s) regarding pricing and delivery, including follow up after inquiry.
- Effectively manage log for loss sales.
- Manage Part Associates and any other future positions in department.
- This position will work closely with the Store/Service Manager and Sales representatives.
