Parts Advisor - MM Mauer Main Chevrolet - 5.0 Anoka, MN Job Details Full-time $18 - $22 an hour 2 days ago Qualifications Computer operation Maintenance inventory management Microsoft Excel Phone communication Labeling Regulatory compliance Process improvement Hazard Communication Standard Mid-level Change management Driver's License Driving Receiving shipments Logistics inventory management Guest services Phone call management Communication skills Regulatory compliance management Order fulfillment Full Job Description As a Parts Counterman, you are responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing parts inventory, and supporting the sales and service department by ensuring the availability and accuracy of parts and accessories. This role involves interacting with customers and service technicians, processing orders, and maintaining accurate inventory records. You are to model behaviors and a culture for success including integrity, respect, drive, community, fun and pride without ego, self-confidence, and creativity. Job Duties and Responsibilities including, but not limited to: Deliver parts to service technicians as needed. Maintains a balanced inventory consistent with the requirements of the service department, body shop, wholesale accounts. Attends parts department meetings. Manage parts delivery, receiving, and stocking to inventory. Manage inbound and outbound guest phone calls. Monitors parts inventory to minimize obsolescence. Ensure that all parts are properly tagged so that the dealership recovers full credit from the factory. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations (i.e. OSHA Right-to-Know), and standards to maintain the legality and business integrity of Dealership. Works with the service department members to ensure a timely turnaround of parts needed for internal jobs. Other tasks assigned. Requirements Strong motivation and coaching skills. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to manage change and detail-oriented processes. Maintain a valid driver's license with a clean record. Comply with all dealership and manufacturer job-related training and requirements. Adhere to the employee handbook policies and procedures. Excellent computer skills, including Excel. Ability to achieve goals with high guest satisfaction ratings. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and ability to influence management on process improvements.
