Description:
SUMMARY The primary responsibility of this role is to provide outstanding customer service by addressing and resolving issues efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction with HVAC products and services.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Assist customers in person or by phone, identifying their needs and suggesting suitable products. Prepare sales documentation and process payments or credit authorizations. Handle warranty returns and resolve customer complaints. Fill and manage UPS, will-call and truck orders as necessary. Maintain inventory levels and the organization of the parts showroom, including restocking shelves and arranging products for optimal display. Communicate inventory levels to Parts Product Specialist to ensure product availability. Be available for on-call duties and occasional Saturday shifts. Maintain and organize personal work area, including performing necessary warehouse duties. Stay informed about company policies, procedures, and new product developments. Work on-site, M-F 7:30 am
  • 4:30 pm.
Participate in and promote continuous learning and development through training initiatives such as MN Air University, HR programs, tech-support courses, and webinars. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
Ability to effectively use phones, computers, and other communication devices. Effective problem-solving skills with the ability to address issues involving multiple variables. Strong customer service skills with excellent verbal and written communication. Basic understanding of HVAC systems. (preferred) Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
One-year certificate from a college or technical school. One to three years of related experience in HVAC. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will also be considered. Valid Driver's License. EPA CFC Certification, Type 2 or Universal (preferred). Forklift Certification (can be obtained on the job).
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The work environment is moderately noisy, with typical office sounds such as computers, phone calls, and conversations. Capability to learn and operate material handling equipment.
