Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Counter Parts Specialist. This position is full time and located Freeport, MN. This Counter Parts Specialist will work directly with customers to provide them with parts from manufacturers such as Bobcat, Ferris, McCormick, and Vermeer. We are looking for a dedicated employee who has excellent customer service skills and computer knowledge. This employee must also be collaborative, possess excellent communication skills and be able to work closely with the service department and customers to meet their needs for parts inventory. Responsibilities Manage and organize inventory of parts using inventory management systems Focus on servicing our customers' needs for in-store and phone parts requests in a timely, courteous and efficient manner. Process sales transactions accurately through POS (Point of Sale) systems while handling cash and credit payments with professionalism Maintain stock levels through stocking, order fulfillment, and inventory control to prevent shortages or overstocking Supply the service department with parts required to meet our service customers' needs in a timely manner This person must work well as a team member and collaborate with all departments within the company Utilize company, vendor and industry resources to consistently grow your knowledge of machines and their applicable parts Requirements Proven experience in agriculture and construction repair or dealership parts departments Strong knowledge of ag diagnostics, machinery maintenance, and ag service procedures Familiarity with inventory management software Experience with POS systems, retail sales processes, cash handling, and cashiering procedures Exceptional communication skills with a focus on phone etiquette and customer service excellence Organizational skills to manage stock levels efficiently and prioritize tasks effectively Proficiency in computer skills and knowledge for looking up parts. This position requires a high knowledge of working on computers.
