Candidates must be self motivated and enjoy working independently and with a team. Looking for applicants who have 1 year CDK experience plus 1 year parts counterperson experience. General knowledge of inventory systems and vehicle systems & components is required. Able to work Saturdays Job Duties include: Track incoming and outgoing parts inventory for the dealership. Mark and store parts in stockrooms according to pre-arranged systems. Receive and fill telephone orders for parts customers. Fill customer orders from stock or locate & order available parts when the dealership is out of stock. Package & ship parts to customers or back to the manufacturer and complete the appropriate recordkeeping. Determine replacement parts required, according to inspections of old parts, customer requests, or customers' descriptions of malfunctions. Refer to parts manuals (both hard copy and electronic format) in order to determine exactly the right part/s or replacement part/s for the make, model and year of vehicles being serviced. Discuss use and features of various parts, based on knowledge of vehicle systems and components.
