This One Helps Those Who Do. If you're energized by building relationships, spending time in your territory, demonstrating equipment, and being the person customers trust when they need solutions, we'd love to meet you. What You'll Be Doing No two days look the same, but you can expect to: Build lasting relationships with fire departments, municipalities, and emergency service organizations throughout your territory. Demonstrate industry-leading fire and rescue equipment, explain product capabilities, and help customers choose the solutions that best fit their operational needs. Guide customers through the entire purchasing process—from the first conversation to delivery and beyond. Become a trusted advisor by understanding each department's unique challenges and recommending the right equipment—not just making a sale. Follow MacQueen's proven 5-4-3-2-1 Sales Methodology while developing new business and growing existing accounts. Stay informed on competitor products and market trends to position MacQueen as the preferred partner. Maintain accurate customer activity, opportunities, forecasts, wins, and losses within our CRM. Help customers understand available financing options to make purchasing new and used apparatus easier. Resolve customer concerns quickly while delivering the exceptional service MacQueen is known for. Roll up your sleeves and jump in wherever needed to support the team and our customers. The Ideal Candidate You don't have to be a firefighter—but you do need to understand what exceptional service and relationships look like. We're looking for someone who has: An Associate degree in Business, Sales, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Five or more years of successful outside sales experience, preferably within the fire service, emergency services, municipal, fleet, heavy equipment, or related industries. Experience using CRM platforms and ERP systems such as CDK. A self-starter mentality—you don't wait for opportunities; you create them. Strong communication and relationship-building skills that make customers want to work with you for years. Excellent organization, follow-through, and attention to detail. Confidence using Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new technology. A passion for serving first responders and helping them succeed in the field. Why This Role Matters Every piece of equipment you recommend could one day help save a life. You'll represent a company that's been trusted by first responders for generations, backed by industry-leading products, exceptional support, and a team that's passionate about serving those who serve others. If you're looking for a career where relationships matter, your work has purpose, and every sale makes a real difference—we'd love to hear from you.
