Position Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Parts Counter Associate to join our team. This role is responsible for assisting customers and technicians in identifying, sourcing, and ordering parts for heavy-duty trucks while providing excellent service at the counter and over the phone.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist walk-in and phone customers with parts inquiries and orders Accurately identify parts using manufacturer catalogs and systems Process sales transactions, invoices, and returns Maintain organized inventory and stock levels Work closely with service technicians to ensure timely parts availability Promote current parts specials and upsell when appropriate Ensure a clean, professional, and customer-friendly parts counter area

Qualifications:

3 year previous experience in heavy-duty truck parts, automotive parts, or related field preferred Knowledge of Mack and Volvo truck parts is a strong plus Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask Basic computer skills and familiarity with parts management systems Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
