Position Summary This position is responsible for assisting customers with parts needs for forklifts, heavy equipment, and related material handling equipment. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service while supporting daily parts operations including inventory management, order processing, shipping/receiving, and parts sales support. Key Responsibilities Assist customers in person and over the phone with parts identification, ordering, and inquiries Support parts sales for forklifts, heavy equipment, and material handling equipment Process customer orders, purchase orders, invoices, and inventory transactions accurately within company systems Maintain inventory levels through ordering, stocking, cycle counts, and inventory organization Coordinate shipping and receiving activities including inspection and verification of incoming and outgoing parts Work closely with service technicians and service management to ensure timely parts availability Research parts availability, pricing, and sourcing options to support customer uptime Maintain accurate records of inventory movement and customer transactions Provide excellent customer service while resolving customer questions and concerns professionally Maintain a clean, organized, and safe parts department environment Support additional branch operations and warehouse responsibilities as needed Requirements & Qualifications 2-3 years of experience in parts sales, heavy equipment parts, automotive parts, forklift parts, or industrial equipment parts preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Computer proficiency with inventory systems, parts lookup software, and Microsoft Office programs Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and lift/carry parts up to 50 lbs. Ability to work collaboratively with co-workers, managers, technicians, and customers Strong work ethic, reliability, and professionalism Valid driver's license preferred Preferred Skills Experience with forklift, heavy equipment, or industrial equipment parts Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and shipping/receiving procedures Mechanical aptitude and ability to identify equipment components and applications Experience using ERP systems or computerized inventory management systems Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple customer requests simultaneously The successful candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment while building strong relationships with customers, technicians, and vendors.
