PAM Transport is looking to add a Parts Coordinator to join our Charlotte shop! The Parts Coordinator performs a wide range or duties that include managing inventory for offsite locations and providing support for the corporate parts team.

This full time position offers:

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Purchasing and Receiving stock orders into the parts system. Issue purchase orders to vendors. Manage tire inventory, orders, shipping and receiving. Ship parts both internally and externally. Maintain proper inventory of parts. Conduct daily cycle counts and quarterly physical inventory. Responsible for all warranty parts, recovery from unit and shipping to suppliers. Process part cores for returns. Issue parts from inventory to work orders. Ensures that work is completed within established time frames and standards.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint necessary. Parts or inventory control experience would be preferred. Must be able to multi task and prioritize to complete daily tasks and impromptu requests. Experience in truck/trailer parts is preferred. Ability to communicate effectively. Accepts responsibility and meets expectations for own work. Follows company policies and procedures

PHYSICAL ABILITIES

Enter and locate information on computer or system communication device. Grasps, turns, and manipulates objects of varying size and weight. Move up and down a ladder or stairs. Move, lift, carry, and place parts and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance. Walk within work area for extended periods of time. Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
