- Job Summary The Parts Clerk supports daily inventory operations by receiving, organizing, tracking, and issuing parts and equipment.
This role works closely with technicians, vendors, and customers to ensure the right parts are available when needed. Key Responsibilities Receive and inspect incoming parts shipments for accuracy. Identify and locate parts using catalogs and inventory systems. Pick, pack, and issue parts to technicians and customers. Organize and maintain inventory in a clean, orderly stockroom. Enter inventory transactions, including sales, returns, and stock movements. Assist customers by phone and at the parts counter. Order replacement stock and monitor backorders. Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate records. Generate basic inventory reports using Excel and inventory software. Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 1-2 years of inventory, warehouse, or parts experience preferred. Experience using inventory management systems. Basic Microsoft Excel skills. Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy. Customer service and communication skills. Ability to obtain forklift certification within 30 days of hire. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for long periods, and climb ladders as needed. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Tobaccoville, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
