The primary purpose of the Parts Counter Consultant is to quote and sell automotive parts to customers for Main Shop sales. Parts Counter Consultants are responsible for processing orders and ensuring timely delivery of parts to internal departments, such as PDQ (Oil & Lube) or the Main Shop. Schedule/Pay Pay range is $18-$22/hour based on experience Schedule is 9am-6pm Monday-Friday and every 3rd Saturday from 8am-2pm Benefits Above average health, vision, and dental insurance with family and child coverage Short- and long-term disability insurance and life insurance at group rates After 1 year, a 401(k) with company matching dollars up to 4% Paid time off We also offer great "in-house" benefits including discounted services, an employee vehicle purchase program and paid time off to volunteer Responsibilities Quote, sell and process Service department automotive parts Answer phones in a courteous and professional manner Maintain current product knowledge in accordance with company standards Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers Coordinate parts ordering and delivery process Notify Service Advisor when parts are available Learn to overcome objections and thrive in sales situations Bring your 'A game' & positive attitude with you every day Qualifications Ability to collaborate, interpret and communicate information that is not always straightforward Must have an outgoing personality Professional, well-groomed personal appearance.
