Summary:
The parent company, Kotaco, is a growing fuel and propane distributor with employees in 7 states. This is a part-time or full-time position depending on candidate. We seek a highly motivated, positive individual with excellent customer service skills to represent the company in a public customer service role.Responsibilities:
The NAPA Auto Parts store in Northwood wants to add to their Parts Counter Person staff. Experience in automotive parts sales is strongly preferred.- Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish
- Communicate with customer on parts status
- Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing a high level of service to internal and external customers
- Be able to read and understand the parts catalog when looking up parts
- Answer phone calls, providing price quotes and other information
- Review Body Shop estimates to be sure that the parts that are ordered are correct and all pricing is in line with the estimate
- Pulls and fills orders from stock
- Notifies the Store Manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention
- Locates out-of-stock parts from outside sources and submits an emergency order, if necessary
- Makes sure that all internal requests for parts are billed properly
- Receives payment from retail customers or obtains credit authorization
- Sets up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up
Qualifications:
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment
- Must have strong organizational and time management skills
- Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Must be able to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
