Full Job Description Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm, overtime as required and approved
Summary:
Responsible for receiving, inspecting, assigning, and tracking incoming and outgoing materials from the parts room and maintaining all aspects of the parts room by performing the following duties in our Manchester, NH facility. This position performs safety-sensitive functions.
Skills and Experience:
Experience with Quantum business system software and aviation materials preferred.
Responsibilities:
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Packs and unpacks items to be stocked on shelves in parts room.
  • 2. Stores items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouse, tool, and supply rooms.
  • 3. Examines and inspects stock items for wear or defects and reports any damage
  • 4. Receives and counts stock items and records the data manually or using computer.
  • 5. Marks stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling system.
  • 6. Verifies inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, investigating discrepancies, and adjusting errors.
  • 7. Issues or distributes materials, products, parts, and supplies to coworkers or customers based on incoming requisitions.
  • 8. Provides assistance or direction to other stockrooms, warehouse, or coworkers.
  • 9. Disposes of damaged or defective items or returns them to the vendors.
  • 10. Cleans and maintains supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • 11. Keeps record on the uses or damages of the stock or equipment.
  • 12. Determines proper storage methods, identification, and stock location.
  • 13. Prepares products, supplies, equipment, or other items for use by adjusting, repairing, or assembling as necessary.
  • 14. [Potentially] drives trucks to pick up incoming stock or to deliver parts to designated location.
  • 15. Prints barcode label for each part and scans all certifications into the system.
  • 16. Compiles data or documentation. 17. Responsible for periodic "cycle counting" of inventory and shop supplies 18. Responsible for assisting with annual physical inventory. What you'll bring: The ability to work in a very fast-paced environment
