Our team is passionate, hardworking, and dedicated to delivering the best experience possible—whether it's sales, service, or detailing. We are looking for a Service & Inventory Manager to join our team. This position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day flow of the service department while also managing vehicle inventory operations. The right candidate must be organized, proactive, dependable, and capable of keeping both service and inventory processes running efficiently. This is a key operational role within the dealership and is ideal for someone who understands automotive service, dealership inventory management, and team coordination. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily service department workflow and help ensure repairs are handled efficiently Coordinate with technicians, and outside vendors Monitor repair status, parts needs, and turnaround times Help maintain quality control on serviced vehicles before they are front-line ready Manage incoming inventory and track vehicles through inspection, reconditioning, detail, and lot placement Maintain accurate inventory records, vehicle status updates, and internal tracking spreadsheets Work closely with sales, service, and management to prioritize units and minimize downtime Monitor aged inventory and help identify vehicles that need attention, mechanical work, or pricing review Create and maintain internal processes, policies, and operational documents Assist with vendor scheduling, transport coordination, and general dealership operations Use Excel or Google Sheets to track progress, timelines, costs, and inventory status Support management in improving dealership efficiency and accountability across departments Requirements Previous automotive dealership experience strongly preferred Experience in service department operations, inventory management, or a similar dealership role Strong organizational and multitasking skills Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and problem-solving skills Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanics and repair process Comfortable using Excel or Google Sheets Basic computer skills required Ability to create and organize documents, policies, and workflow systems Valid driver's license required Preferred Qualifications Used car dealership experience Knowledge of recon process and inventory turn management Experience working with service scheduling, parts coordination, and vehicle status tracking Ability to take ownership of operational issues and follow them through to completion What We're Looking For Strong attention to detail Accountability and follow-through Team-oriented attitude Professional communication Someone who can help bring structure, consistency, and efficiency to daily operations Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Opportunity for growth within the company Supportive team environment Long-term opportunity with a well-established dealership
