Duties Greet customers warmly and identify their needs through active communication and attentive listening Assist customers in selecting automotive parts and accessories using product knowledge and inventory systems Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and receipt issuance Provide detailed explanations of automotive diagnostics, repair procedures, and maintenance options to customers Maintain organized inventory control by stocking shelves, updating stock levels, and conducting regular stock checks Use dealership management software (CMMS) and Microsoft Excel for order fulfillment, record keeping, and inventory tracking Negotiate sales terms with customers to maximize satisfaction while meeting dealership goals Support vehicle maintenance advice by sharing automotive repair insights and service recommendations Handle phone inquiries professionally, providing product information or directing calls appropriately Collaborate with the service team to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction Uphold excellent customer service standards by addressing questions promptly and courteously Skills Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical automotive concepts clearly Proficiency in automotive diagnostics and repair processes to assist customers effectively Bilingual or multilingual abilities to serve diverse customer bases confidently Experience with inventory management systems (CMMS), POS systems, and retail math for accurate transactions and stock control Negotiation skills to close sales while maintaining positive customer relationships Organizational skills for stocking, order fulfillment, and maintaining a tidy workspace Knowledge of automotive service procedures and dealership operations to enhance customer support Cashiering experience with attention to detail in cash handling procedures Familiarity with Microsoft Excel for data entry, reporting, and inventory analysis Excellent phone etiquette for professional communication over the phone or via email Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their career in the automotive industry.
