Vacation Support Companion

Vacation Support Companion (Live-In at the Jersey Shore) Join our dedicated team as a Vacation Support Companion, where your warmth and energy help adults with developmental differences enjoy a memorable vacation. You'll live in a beachside home, one block from the ocean, combining companionship, fun outings, and light support. Compensation includes weekly pay plus furnished housing, meals, and utilities, making this a unique opportunity to grow personally and professionally.

Duties:

Provide positive companionship and light assistance with daily routines (e.g., dressing, grooming, minimal guidance). Accompany travelers on outings—boardwalk trips, mini golf, whale watching, dining at Hard Rock Cafe, and more. Support meal prep, ensuring dietary needs are met while encouraging independence. Assist with light housekeeping (e.g., communal areas, laundry). Promote safety, engagement, and a positive environment while respecting independence.

Skills:

Experience with individuals with developmental differences or in caregiving, education, or community support. CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain. Strong communication, patience, and adaptability.
