Trailways of New York is Hiring for a Full-Time Parts Counter Person. About Us Trailways of New York provides 24/7 transportation services throughout New York State, with routes extending to Montreal and Toronto. With nearly a century of service, we are committed to safety, reliability, and maintaining high standards across our facilities and operations. We have an immediate employment opportunity for a Parts Counter Person in our Albany Fleet Maintenance Facility. The preferred candidate is an initiative-taker, detail-oriented and has: Effective communication and time management skills. The ability to work well independently and with a team. Parts room experience-Diesel and heavy-duty experience preferred-not required. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Computer skills (Word & Excel). Inventory experience preferred-not required. The ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and D.O.T. physical. The ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Distributing parts to mechanics in the maintenance facility. Maintaining a clean and organized parts department. Managing inventory and inventory control. Shipping and receiving of all parts.
