Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Power Equipment Parts Sales Specialist, where your enthusiasm and expertise will drive customer satisfaction and business growth. In this energetic role, you will serve as a vital link between customers and our extensive inventory of power equipment parts, ensuring they receive the right solutions for their needs. Your proactive approach, combined with excellent communication skills and technical knowledge, will help foster lasting relationships with clients and support their equipment maintenance and repair projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your sales skills while working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Duties Assist customers in identifying and selecting the appropriate power equipment parts, utilizing equipment diagnostics and repair knowledge to provide accurate recommendations Manage inventory control by stocking, organizing, and maintaining parts displays to ensure easy access and efficient order fulfillment Use POS (Point of Sale) systems to process transactions accurately, including cash handling and sales management procedures Negotiate prices and terms with customers to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction Maintain detailed records of sales, inventory levels, and order fulfillment using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) or other organizational tools Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries via phone or in person, demonstrating strong communication skills and professional phone etiquette Support marketing efforts by promoting special offers, new products, or seasonal promotions to boost retail sales Experience Previous experience in retail sales or dealership environments specializing in power equipment, automotive parts, or related fields Knowledge of diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, equipment repair, and service is highly desirable Familiarity with inventory management systems is preferred Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage stock levels efficiently and perform inventory control tasks effectively Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—to engage customers confidently and clearly Experience with retail math, marketing strategies, Microsoft Excel, and general organizational skills will enhance your success in this role Embark on a rewarding career where your proactive attitude and technical expertise make a tangible difference!
