Dealership Parts Counterperson

Job Overview Dealership seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Parts Counter Person to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support. You will handle various tasks including cash register operations, order fulfillment, and inventory control, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for our customers Duties Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately using POS systems. Communicate effectively with customers over the phone, providing information and addressing inquiries with professionalism. Assist in vehicle maintenance inquiries and dealership operations as needed. Utilize Dealership systems for tracking inventory and managing stock levels. Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless workflow and exceptional customer service. Overseeing the Parts Counter, Special Parts Orders and Inventory Work with Retail Customers, Parts Managers and Mechanics Keeping the Parts Dept well organized and efficient Experience Previous experience in a dealership environment is required . Familiarity with cash register operations and order fulfillment processes is a plus. Strong phone etiquette and communication skills are essential for interacting with customers effectively. Experience in vehicle maintenance or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory. Proficiency in using POS systems and basic Excel functions will be beneficial for this role.
