Internal Service & Parts Advisor

Position:

Internal Service & Parts Advisor Our internal service & parts advisor will serve as an asset to our service, parts and detail department. Qualified candidates must have a positive and enthusiastic attitude, strong attention to detail, fast paced nature, computer experience, clean driving record, excellent communication skills, and professional appearance. Key Responsibilities Open and close internal repair orders for our service department Provide repair estimates to used vehicle manager for all internal vehicles Work closely with Service Dispatch to ensure efficient turn-around on all internal vehicles Close repair orders for our detail department Assist with opening repair orders for our detail department Accurately identify parts necessary to complete repairs and retrieve pricing information Work with and maintain relationships with vendors to locate and order parts Order parts by phone, and online Receive parts and inspect for claims quality and accuracy Ensure timely distribution to the shop in accordance with the production schedule Receive, tag and distribute parts immediately upon receipt Receiving and scanning invoices of parts shipments as they arrive Supply Service Technicians with parts as required, as quickly as possible Verify correct parts with a mirror match Return and re-order incorrect or damaged parts Track incomplete order status (outstanding orders, backorders, and credits) and follow up as necessary Answers and directs incoming phone calls and inquiries promptly, thoroughly, courteously and accurately Assists in keeping parts department and service & detail shops clean, orderly, and well-stocked Assists in maintaining all departmental tools and equipment Post parts and sublet invoices and maintain an accurate accounting record of the part Requirements Must have a clean driving record Understand and follow proper safety techniques.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

To adequately perform the duties of this job, the employee is regularly and routinely required to sit, stand, walk, stoop and use hands. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
