This hybrid position supports stock order processing, SOP handling, and Parts counter operations. Its primary focus is stock and SOP accuracy, with the goal of transitioning into a full-time Parts counter role as business needs allow. There will be occasional deliveries or runs for the dealership. In this role, attention to detail reliability, and timeliness are extremely important.

Employee Discounts Primary Responsibilities:

Follow established Parts Department processes for stock orders, SOP orders, and front counter support. Receive the morning stock order as well as the UPS afternoon order. Put stock parts away in the correct locations. Ensuring SOP parts are put with the correct SOR, and the SOR is properly documented. (Circle qty, write bin location on SOR, etc.) Making sure "Car Downs" get to shop ASAP. Assist with P&A requests, answer phones, and help customers at the counter. Support day-to-day Parts counter activity as needed while maintaining focus on assigned stock and SOP responsibilities. Bring parts to the Bodyshop when needed. Take cardboard and related materials out as part of general department support. Cleaning up and organizing warranty bins General cleaning Job requirements: Previous automotive parts experience preferred but not required Must have valid NYS Drivers' License Must be detail-oriented.
