Job Description
As the premier Raymond Solutions & Service Center in the Northeast, Pengate Handling Systems has built its reputation on delivering innovative material handling solutions, quality equipment, and exceptional customer service. As a Parts Consignment Coordinator , you'll serve as the face of Pengate at customer locations, managing our in-house consignment program while building lasting customer relationships. You'll ensure customers have the right parts available when they need them, identify opportunities to grow parts sales, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities Manage customer consignment inventories to ensure parts availability. Order, receive, stock, replenish, and maintain inventory at customer locations. Deliver parts to customers and internal branches in a safe and timely manner. Build strong customer relationships while identifying opportunities to increase parts sales. Recognize customer needs and recommend solutions that improve customer operations. Demonstrate product applications and provide product support as needed. Assist the Parts Department by answering phones, processing parts orders, and supporting daily operations. Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure inventory accuracy. Collaborate with internal teams to provide timely, responsive customer service. Represent Pengate professionally while traveling to customer sites throughout the day. Reliable, dependable, and committed to providing outstanding service every day. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous customer service, sales, inventory, or parts experience preferred. Material handling, industrial equipment, automotive, or heavy equipment industry experience is a plus. Forklift or material handling equipment certification is beneficial. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and computer systems. Valid driver's license with an excellent driving record. Ability to travel locally throughout the workday with occasional overnight travel as needed. Physical Requirements Frequently stand, walk, bend, twist, kneel, crouch, and lift throughout the workday. Lift and move up to 50 pounds. Travel daily to customer locations. Work both indoors and outdoors in varying conditions. Use hands and fingers to handle inventory, parts, and equipment. Sit, drive, and work on a computer as needed throughout the day.
