Job Description
1.
ROLE OVERVIEW
Employee is responsible for both vehicle acquisition and managing the full operational flow from purchase through recon readiness using Shopmonkey. 2.CORE RESPONSIBILITIES A. VEHICLE ACQUISITION
Maintain a target pace of 10+ vehicles per week Source vehicles via auction and private purchase Ensure all purchased units meet Company buying standardsB. FLOW MANAGEMENT
(MANDATORYSYSTEM CONTROL
) Employee is responsible for ensuring every vehicle moves through the following pipeline without delay: Step 1: Purchase → Transport All purchased vehicles must be scheduled for pickup within 24 hours Vehicles must arrive at the lot within 72 hours Step 2: Intake → Shopmonkey Entry Every vehicle must be entered into Shopmonkey immediately upon arrival A repair order (RO) must be created with correct vehicle details and status Step 3: Inspection All vehicles must be inspected within 7 days of arrival Inspection status must be updated in Shopmonkey the same day Step 4: Parts & Repair Flow All required parts must be identified immediately after inspection Parts must be ordered within 24 hours of diagnosis No vehicle shall sit waiting on parts without active follow-up Step 5: Technician Workflow Ensure technicians always have vehicles ready to work on Prevent idle time due to lack of parts, direction, or scheduling Maintain consistent communication with the service team Step 6: Recon Completion Vehicles must move through recon with urgency and without unnecessary delays Monitor each RO daily until completion Step 7: Frontline Ready Ensure completed vehicles are immediately moved to frontline status No completed unit shall sit without being ready for sale 3.SHOPMONKEY MANAGEMENT REQUIREMENT
Shopmonkey must be 100% accurate and updated daily All RO statuses, notes, and parts must reflect real-time progress Shopmonkey is the single source of truth for operations 4.COMPENSATION STRUCTURE
Base Draw:
$1,000 per week ($4,000 per month)Performance Bonus:
Performance bonus is based on total monthly units purchased and on the Company's prior rolling 12-month average of $2,800 gross profit per unit, after commissions payable to salespeople. 30 units @ 6% = $5,040 40 units @ 7% = $7,840 50 units @ 8% = $11,200 5.PAYOUT TERMS
Weekly draw is advanced against monthly bonus earnings If earned bonus does not exceed total draw, Employee receives draw only If earned bonus exceeds total draw, Employee is paid the full bonus amount, not draw plus bonus Bonus payout shall be paid net of applicable expenses and only on funded deals, no later than the 15th day of the following month 6.PERFORMANCE STANDARD
(NON-NEGOTIABLE) Compensation is contingent upon: Maintaining consistent buying volume Ensuring continuous vehicle flow through service Eliminating operational bottlenecks Keeping technicians productive at all times Maintaining full system accuracy in Shopmonkey Failure to execute responsibilities at a satisfactory level may result in reduction, restructuring, or termination of this Agreement. 7.EMPLOYMENT STATUS
This Agreement does not alter at-will employment status. Either party may terminate employment at any time.Pay:
