Burns Industrial Equipment is looking for a motivated Forklift Parts Specialist to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 2+ years of parts lookup and ordering experience who takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service and keeping technicians equipped with the parts they need to succeed. As a Parts Specialist, you'll play a critical role in supporting our customers and service team by sourcing, ordering, and distributing forklift and industrial equipment parts efficiently and accurately.

What You'll Do:

Assist customers, service technicians, and internal staff by phone and email. Research, source, and order OEM and aftermarket parts. Prepare and provide accurate parts quotations. Process customer and technician orders in our business system. Issue purchase orders to vendors and suppliers. Pick, stage, and fulfill parts orders. Coordinate daily shipments and deliveries. Maintain communication with customers regarding order status and availability. Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy. Assist with invoicing and payment processing. Support other parts department operations as needed.

What We're Looking For:

2+ years of parts lookup and ordering experience (required). Previous experience in the forklift, industrial equipment, automotive, heavy equipment, or similar parts industry preferred. Strong customer service and communication skills. Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Strong computer and basic math skills. Ability to read parts manuals, technical diagrams, and exploded-view illustrations. Working knowledge of inventory control and warehouse operations.
