Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner. Provide timely updates regarding customer parts status. Read and utilize the electronic parts catalog to identify and locate the correct parts. Answer phone calls, provide price quotes, and assist customers with parts inquiries. Review body shop estimates to verify parts ordered are accurate and pricing aligns with estimates. Deliver exceptional service to both internal and external customers. Pull and fill parts orders from inventory and perform weekly bin checks to maintain inventory accuracy. Notify the Parts Manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials requiring immediate attention. Source unavailable parts from outside vendors and submit emergency orders when necessary. Ensure all internal parts requests are billed accurately to the appropriate repair order. Process customer payments and obtain credit authorization when applicable. Assist with receiving, stocking, organizing, and maintaining inventory as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe parts department. Qualification s High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous automotive parts experience preferred. Knowledge of automotive systems, components, and parts terminology is preferred. Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail. Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn dealership software and electronic parts catalogs. Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn. Dependable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday. Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull parts weighing up to 50 pounds . Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach to retrieve and stock inventory. Ability to climb ladders or step stools to access shelving. Ability to work in a warehouse and dealership environment with varying temperatures. Frequent use of hands and arms to handle parts, operate equipment, and use a computer. Ability to safely operate dealership vehicles when necessary.
